everybody wants fades, but no one wants indigo loss...its like everybody wants heaven but nobody wants to die! so silly....imho the people who are averse to water on denim were probably misinformed about washing jeans in the first place, and then the bullshit spread amongst the ignorant. theoretically whats the worst that could happen from washing your jeans? miners didn't give a shit about fades or a washing regimen, and we dickride them everyday(no homo) on sufu....so im washing the fuck outta mine, as needed to maybe put a new perspective on this, and show these hoes the beauty and quality of an okayama rope-dye job!

Quoted for fucking truth...and repped for the effort and wise words...

what was this in response to?

if it was to duck sauce's post, i see it being a little overboard. what you've said is very true, but i feel it's the sentiment agreed upon by most people active in superdenim. just sounds a bit preachy to me, but true none the less

^ wait, wait, is handwashing done PURELY for minimizing indigo loss?

I've been using the washer everytime I wash my jeans anyways, but i want to learn the benefits of handwashing. Like, minimizing creases? or maybe control the fade process? (true that this may be frown upon, but I think there is a art to it)

i do it because im not allowed to use the washing machine for a single article of clothing cus it wastes water and also the jeans makes the inside of the machine blue.

actually im trying through browbeating to start a new sufu wash-often trend. i can no longer hide my true intentions. i wasn't posting in response to anyone else's post, i just have a not-so-hidden agenda going on! if you'd notice this last few weeks ive been talking about washing(and washing often) in about 50% of my posts. i hate that contrasty fades are more desirable than 'vintage-style fades' and i really hate that cats actually have how their jeans are going to fade, and amt. of indigo loss on their minds when deciding when and how to wash. one day after a really physical adventure when i got home and went to take a piss, as i undid my fly the smell came up and smacked me in the nose. i've been done with the intentional contrast fade ever since. look at farmers jeans. he's not a wash-a holic like me, but his jeans are beautiful... plus most cats on sufu wear their jeans to walk around campus and talk about how they are 'going hard'. fucking nuts...

why should it matter if people want to fade their jeans differently from you. we all have preferences. if people don't want to wash their jeans for awhile because of the idea that they'll have different fades... just let them be.

if you want to wash your jeans whenever you want.. then go right ahead. i don't see why you need to cap on people who have different ways of wearing their jeans. that's what makes wearing denim so awesome.. we get to see different methods of fades...whether it be from a everday wash or a yearly wash. its all up to the person wearing it.

xposted for contest thread

Hey guys, here's my late 2 months update. I haven't really done anything exciting in my jeans yet except for falling on a longboard. New map pack just came out for CoD5 so i'll probably go into hiding for 1-2 months to play. Pictures were taken under a tree

Still waiting to see Boston's superjeans :(

^^ Oh god Bacon, those are sweet. Ah, can't believe I'm posting these after you.

warehouse x sufu.. maybe around 4 months? honestly these havent been worn since around may/june of last year due to the obvious crotch hole, and my procrastination prevents repairs ever happening. So, I've decided to take a few pics. Not much going on.. one soak one wash.
