The Evolution of Jeans: Pictures, Scones and Tea

Those are arguably the best APC's I've ever seen, probably in the top two. They're contrasty but still have a nice textural look. They've even got some of the classic fading that jeans are known for such as the traintracks and inseam, along with other points of fading around points where the denim is sewn together: the pockets, around the waistband, inseam. +Rep.

This is where the denim finally gave way and frayed through.

RRL Slims purchased 10/2007

Patched about 3-4 times in the crotch over that time period (lots of cycling and a saddle that probably didn't help) and in the last month or two I had both of the back pockets patched because my phone kept falling out.

The other leg was usually cuffed from riding so it didn't get the stacking this one did

101 wears, just washed the 2nd time (first was after 69)

All pictures are without flash in pretty poor lighting, so they're a fair amount lighter IRL.

The denim of these (Diesel turbodenims) is admittedly pretty low, need to patch a couple spots already.

Cross-post from SDA thread.

About time I updated SUFU with my SDA SP 013s. Got more than 1 year worth of wear in them (maybe like 1 year and 2,5 months). 3+ washes, 5+ soaks.

These retain indigo very well (which is no surprise with 30 dips of natural indigo), and needs alot of wear to evolve. However, they are extremely comfortable, and I can recommend this denim highly.

Here they are, shot in natural outdoors light (all show true colour):
