Cut is somewhat similar to NS, although...still a different fit. JR's have a bit of a higher rise and I believe the taper is a little bit smaller/slimmer, as well.

And like all denim, JR's do naturally stretch...but not that much, however, and definitely nothing ridiculous like apc's. Personally, I wouldn't even bother sizing down on JR's unless you want super skin tight fitting.

the hoboken is the skinnier cut and i sized down 1, the waist buttons juuuuust not quite comfortably is the only way to put it, but they are comfortable after a day of wear... you could probably afford to size down 1 with these.
