i think that's the reason why i don't care about football. btw i had troy aikman, my brother n i used 2 ply tht it wuz way better than madden, imo. we also had tht ncaa football game...not as good as troy aikman.

i bought madden 93 when i was like 6. i had no idea how to play football. my dad just kinda told me to pick that one. you could score like 150 points easy.

Damn, i wuz thinkin exactly the same thing... Bo Jackson on the Raiders was unstoppable. super techmobowl ftw. I have possibly the quickest two finger AB combo in the game.. little did I know that this skill would come in handy some years later.

techmo super bowl is still the best football game of all time. then madden 93.

i loved how my entire roster could be in 1st place for everything rushing tackles, td's yrds thrown, rushing, everything in super techmo bowl. scorring an average of 70 points a game was the shit. having two running backs in 1st & 2nd place was hard but 3 recievers in the top 3 leaders board was easy. then having your back up quarter back in 1st place for yards thrown & td's was fun.

then it got next level when you & your friends were so good that you had to use the shittiest teams only to play that game against each other. then it got shitty when you had to use back up players.

agreed, that game was AMAZING, the one bad thing was the quicksand glitch/fatigue problems. other than that it was pretty much flawless, it was really fun to play.

it was all downhill from there.

except, i kind of like the player-blocking ability.

sometimes you can clearly see i player step out of bounds, yet they still call it in their favor. ive stopped challenging plays entirely.

06 was so much better in this area.

in tecmo bowl my friend would always pick the raiders and run the "money play" with bo.

he would actually run bo back to his own goaline, then turn around and proceed to break about 50 tackles for a 90+ yard touchdown.
