dammit.

I may have to get this jacket.

flip-floppin like John Kerry '04

$133. You can wear it frommm .. end of Feb to end of to the end/middle of November. (Cool nights in the summer, layer it up in the late fall/early spring)

So that's.. roughly 244 possible days/nights you could wear it out of 365. That costs you $0.55 a day.

^Based on Canadian weather. I don't know where you are. I should have checked before I went out of my way to do this. Shit.

YES/NO?

Yes, I have a pair in gray and I like them a lot. You probably heard the main con (kind of flimsy) but I don't really think it's a big issue if you aren't wearing them all day long doing various activities...

Besides that I really love the silhouette, they look great with shorts or cropped/ rolled up pants.

I agree. I actually just searched for this thread to ask a question about the Clarks Desert Boot. Kind of ironic, there!

My question is: Do you guys think that the Clarks desert boot would look good with grey shorts (well above the knee) and or hoboken black bullets (dark grey)?

Of course mine are a slight shade lighter from a year of wear and not a single wash!

So whaddyall think?

Of course they are.

As for your question, the brown/grey combination seems a bit odd, although I don't know. I don't know what color grey you're talking about. And as for your jeans; everything goes with jeans.

Also, fadingblue is not talking about Clarks, he's talking about CPs, which have a vulcanized rubber sole, not a crepe sole, and have no heel. It's a generally sleeker silhouette.

Yes, I know that they are cp. The irony being that they're both desert boots. I was about to buy a pair of grey cp desert boots from mr pretender and I offered him the asking price. He never responded. He sucks anyway. What do you think about the grey?

I love you.

I live in Connecticut, in the lovely suburbs.

Come be my keeper. I promise I'll be good.

I'm gonna count my money tomorrow and see if its doable, which I'm sure it is.

Smart.

Totally invalid comparison. We don't know what you need more, a dress shoe or a sneaker, so we can't really tell you which is qualitatively better. But for what it's worth, those W+H hi tops are fire and that leather is bee-yoo-tee-ful.
