this guy on ebay charged me £20, but when it came in the other day actual charges were about £10. he claims that £10 goes to insurance. whats the rate for insurance in the UK anyway? i hate being raped on shipping fees. i got things from the UK for a fraction of what this guys charging.

insurance is about £3-4 up to £50 cover i think.

but yeah, shipping here is expensive for some reason. our postal workers are fucking constantly on strike too. we keep getting noob posties delivering to the derelict part of my house n shit. fuckin NAPS

The UK postal service exists soley for shaven headed, badly tattooed high school drop outs to harvest chequebooks and credit cards on their morning shift and then knock off work at 1pm.

hmm, i was just wondering, because insurance is generally printed along with the total shipping cost, right? if thats the case he ripped me off 20$

Think insurance up to a certain amount is included in the postage price ... if that's not good enough give you service choices to increase safety - sending it recorded delivery so that someone has to sign for it when they receive their parcel, for instance.

I've certainly never needed or been asked to additionally insure anything by the PO on the few occasions I've I posted things abroad.

uk shipping is a massive hassel and the pricing jumps radomly for every location,to be honest 40$-35$ is standard ebay shipping rate for shoes infact i see a lot us sellers charging that for a tshirt to ship to uk,speaking from experience uk price has once again jumped last few pairs of trainers ive sent out have be £17-21 with no added insurance (signed for service) infact the other week i got charged 15£ to send a sweater to aus

its a joke and the service isnt even quick
