Just so people aren't disappointed, most of the bars in Hoboken will card you. You might get lucky at Maxwells but everywhere else is very strict.

You'd be very surprised though, I know I was. On the way to NYC this week, there was one of those stupid "come in, free drinks!" things which means free shitty beer. No carding to get in or at the bar.
