Ha, I had a similar reaction. I thought the picture was blurry, because of the light grey right behind the darker tone.

this just makes more sense to me than a lot of what we've seen recently...

i think this is my favourite look, including the sandals. I like a lot of the shorts in the show as well... All in all, I think it's a really cool collection, specifically all the interesting and 'unorthodox' details, and I hope it's not too expensive when it comes out.

I think mihara yasuhiro is one of the more underrated japanese designers. His stuff has consistently been very creative on the avant-garde tip. Don't look for the lame collaboration with puma. His mainline is much better.

I think he started out as a shoemaker primarily, then slowly got into fashion. I can't speak for most of his collections, but I remember a while back he did a bunch of stuff with burn holes in them, like t-shirts and jeans with the edges burnt off instead of cut.
