thanks thomas!

And what are the prices like for the backpacks?? And do we have any CLEAR pictures of the differening models?

I saw this backpack in a local store today: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/CassShock/30181_raf100_Celebrity_City_FS_123_.jpg

The price tag said 2500 DKK which is around $499

Also I spoke to one of the owners of another local shop that is going to carry the non-maincollection backpacks(http://87.106.137.70/rafsimons/) and she told me that the price was going to be between $399 - $899.

from what I can tell there are two basic models of backpacks.

- a surplus duffel/drawstring style

- a fliptop style with what seems to be an attached hood

is there a 3rd design?

hejski - that link has exceeded the bandwidth... :)

The column in ID magazine says there are 3 models, and that it is the start of a 4 season deal between raf and eastpak...

Southwillard has received their first shipment of Raf. Some cool shirting but all in all, rather boring.

The suede shoes are cool though.

Keep in mind that all but a few kids don't want the garbage presented on the runway show. Cool to look at, awful to wear.

If you ran a business you wouldn't carry what wouldn't sell, I know I wouldn't.

There's a certain balance. I'm not even sure if the more out there pieces sell less than shirts that look like they come from h&m but are much more expensive. What's the point of carrying a designer if you're not willing to push his vision. In civilized areas, shit will sell (eventually).
