Looks like some plot lines from the upcoming season are starting to leak. The story line sounds a little over the top, but I guess that's why I tune into nighttime soaps.

yea i thought this season was pretty wild. the plot got really intricate, but it was still really watchable.

the shit with that lobbyist was amazing. the attempts at reconciling the mormon faith with american ideals of prosperity, fighting for a cause, family values, etc. are what make this show so great, and this season highlighted this in the most complete way, i think.

also, the situation with albie and the ADA was also crazy.

not the sopranos, but it captures a lot of the same elements i liked about the sopranos. hypocrisy, doing right by a cultural memory that you know is doing wrong in some transcendental sense, etc. all good stuff. these slow, character-driven hbo dramas rarely disappoint.

bringing in nikki's daughter was awesome. the whole subplot with the greens and JJ was really interesting as well. especially for the last few episodes.
