one of the few nice things about wisconsin is the fish fry. if you go to the good places, it's big fillets of locally caught fish (perch is the best), freshly cooked. fried, steamed, or sometimes pan-fried.

i guess both...it's hardly anything in it! majority is just rice and seaweed or avocado, whatever is cool now. i don't find the taste appealing either.

I went to this tapas place last weekend and got some shrimp, and they hadn't deveined the shit. The fucking sand filled shrimp intestine was still up in them.

So I cleaned them there at the table and got comped. Guys need to school their fucking kitchens!

I didn't notice at first, becuase I was suffering a devastating hangover, so I took a bite of one of them and there was all this grit in my mouth, and I instantly realized what had happened and went fucking apoplectic.

There is absolutely no excuse not to clean shrimp, especially when you are selling them for like $2 a piece at a place with some white tablecloths and fresh bread and shit.
