I need to get them out before next Thursday, otherwise I won't be able to send them out before the following Tuesday.

Btw, I will be giving another update sometime tomorrow so look out for that.

Ok, sorry but I didn't wear the FHs yesterday but from the lack of updates I thought I might as well update again... not to mention I NEED THE NEXT PERSON IN LINE TO PM ME!!!!

Ok, well yesterday I went upstate NY to visit my moms BFs brother.

first, we left the house. Had the dogs, and my book and that is all I needed.

IMG_4880.jpg

Approaching whatever bridge this is.. I believe throgs neck.

IMG_4886.jpg

Unfortunately it started to rain.. heavily after about 2 hours in the car.

IMG_4953.jpg

IMG_4954.jpg

We stopped to get gas (and walk the dogs), and this is after the rain stopped. now we are in the mountains.

IMG_4959.jpg

IMG_4962.jpg

Look at the beauty of this place..

IMG_5015.jpg

Yay! We finally arrived.

after chilling in the house for about an hour or so the dogs needed to be walked so we walked them again, but we all went.

IMG_5042.jpg

IMG_5045.jpg

About 1/4 mile down the road was the next house, some really nice guy owned it and the dogs even made a new friend!

IMG_5045.jpg

IMG_5050.jpg

The guy gave us some snap pease and he had a beautiful house, my moms bfs brother rented out a place down the road (shit hole), and the guy we were speaking too offered his house to rent it out for even cheaper and it was a hell of a lot nicer of a house. When we just started to walk again he said if we wanted to see the waterfall in his backyard we could, and let me tell you his back yard was beautiful!

IMG_5052.jpg

the stream leading to the waterfall

IMG_5056.jpg

waterfall:

IMG_5070.jpg

It was about a 40 foot drop but my lens wasn't wide enough to show it but I tried taking this picture so you would get the height.

IMG_5075.jpg

Then we headed back:

IMG_5082.jpg

As we were walking back to the house I saw a butterfly!

I was really hungry so we ate.. Then about an hour later had dinner (no food porn :() But it was great chicken parm. We had to walk off the dinner so we went for another walk this time to a stream had to pass through a field.

IMG_5101.jpg

And since they live up in the mtns they have bears... look at the garbage they left lol.

IMG_5102.jpg

Still walking...

IMG_5103.jpg

Ah, here is the stream

IMG_5110.jpg

The view across the way:

IMG_5112.jpg

Now to get to the stream was a steep cliff face thing, but we had to climb down it and back up unfrotunately I can't show pictures of it since I didn't take any more pictures... Well back to the house though!

IMG_5121.jpg

Luckily it didn't rain at all since we had been there... yet.

IMG_5122.jpg

Dogs chilled again...

IMG_5140.jpg

Then it started to rain so we had to hit the road. On the way home I stopped off to get ice cream, no pictures again.. but what a beautiful old style place! Anyways night fell, and we were heading closer to home.

IMG_5164.jpg

that was pretty much the whole day! I came home and fell asleep.

these still need to go to someone.... So, I need someone to pm me.

...And to keep this thread alive (and make up for the time I wasn't able to post in here).

So, I went to NC this weekend! Flew down, which was all fun and good, but then drove back up... 13 HOURS!!!! That sucked. Anyways, the 2 things that I wanted this whole entire trip (if you ever go down south these are the 2 things you MUST buy), boiled peanuts and beef jerky (the good kind, not the big name crap).

Anyways, to start it off I went to LGA and took 2 flights. 1 to Ohio then to charlotte Nc. I boarded the plane in style.

IMG_20110826_124614.jpg

Took off..

IMG_20110826_134721.jpg

And as we were landing in NC the clouds were humongous.

IMG_20110826_170847.jpg

And the fact that my mom drove down there (took her 2 days... smh), she couldn't even pick me up at the airport on time, had to wait an extra hour so I bought possibly the best smoothie I have ever had from starbucks strawberry smoothie.

IMG_20110826_182456.jpg

Well, unfortunately I lost a day and the sun set..

6097351646_dde426fbaf_z.jpg

We did eat at this place though, and I ordered a kappa makki (spelling?)_and shumai

6096807417_f8d03c04d4_z.jpg

Then we walked around town

6097353250_f773991e6d_z.jpg

6096810369_e562af49eb_z.jpg

6097356458_b0a14229e6_z.jpg

then it was time to go back to the place where we were staying. Next morning we woke up and went for an adventure but here is where we were staying.

Actually, first we went looking at houses (don't ask why), but I won't be moving down there anytime soon. On the way we also stopped off and got a few things, no. Boiled peanuts happens later on, they weren't hot so I said no but we got some fresh fruit from there.

6097360614_9f66f92084_z.jpg

Finally we were on our way to our adventure.. On the way I thought this was pretty blue collar, don't know why but just did.

6097362386_ec9634b1ca_z.jpg

So where we went was some mountain place, IDR the name, but we started on this trail to a mini-stream/waterfall..?

6096823639_a2db8cc994_z.jpg

Still going 15 minutes later...

6096824475_9a955fa1e4_z.jpg

6096825501_3785ba7235_z.jpg

Still going..

6096826967_70c7cf42c6_z.jpg

Hai spider.

6097372642_89654b4d9c_z.jpg

Hai flowers

6097373266_0064668238_z.jpg

Still hiking...

6096829193_bb518c80d4_z.jpg

Finally we made it! (wasn't this beautiful), but rest assured it was pretty nice.

then we started heading back

There we are!

6097440084_ae8a8c40e1_z.jpg

Then we began drove to another trail which led to a huge waterfall!

6097442506_2ea9702b92_z.jpg

6096899011_7af5317998_z.jpg

Everyone was having fun!

6097445854_e550df7ca6_z.jpg

Then as we were walking back our dogs met new friends.

6096902635_3a1e4d5c07_z.jpg

As we were driving after we left we passed a place that sold boiled peanuts! FINALLY! So I obvioulsy bought them..

6097374832_d220ae629d_z.jpg

Then we went mining for gems!

what I got:

6096832787_8e917ecaf9_z.jpg

Day 2 done. We just drove back, then stopped off at a supermarket, got some food.. Then headed off to dinner.

We ate at this place, I got pizza which was OK, nothing compared to NYC pizza.

IMG_20110827_185458.jpg

After that it was time to go home.

Day 3:

We headed to SC to look at houses down there as well (Unfortunately). Before we met with the realtor we visited this college. Probably THE hands down nicest college campus I have seen.

6096836459_cf627a25b7_z.jpg

Ate at this place, and the waitress was probably one of the nicest/funniest girls I have ever met.

6097381986_113867a487_z.jpg

I ordered this (thought it looked good on my camera but turns out you can barely make out what I had).

It was just fancy french toast and bacon.

6096837689_27f7d6fcff_z.jpg

It was a nice little town

6097383256_f250d978b5_z.jpg

Then out of all the houses that we were shown (when we met the Realtor and was shown 5 houses), it was HUGE. May not look it, but damn the house was pretty damn big.

6097384248_2a2ac806f9_z.jpg

6097384718_290e69bef9_z.jpg

Then we stopped off at DQ - BUTTERFINGER BLIZZARD!!!!!!

then my camera started to die - this was the last picture I was able to get. But we basically drove to clemson then to a huge lake, then back to the cabin (took about 2.5 hours to get back)..

6096687829_761d8c66fd_z.jpg

Day 3 complete.

Day 4 began, at 5 a.m. When I first got up it was still dark. We had to drive back. 13 damn hours. It sucked.

6097385736_1641ce0a31_z.jpg

But the benefit was the sunrise was absolutely amazing! Pictures don't look nearly as good as the sun was. I am just saying that the sun was HUGE when it first rose.

6097386270_199825b392_z.jpg

6096841807_627ef190d7_z.jpg

was listening to music the whole entire time.

6096842399_761dd3266b_z.jpg

Then about 6-7 hours into the trip we got held up for 30 min for no reason.. Literally the traffic was stopped not moving at all. I was pissed but finally when we started moving this is why we were stopped..

6097387894_95b65aabbc_z.jpg

6097388522_689efa2442_z.jpg

Then about another hour or so later we stopped to get lunch at the cadillac diner. I had nothing since I was just groggy tired and for some reason not hungry at all.

6096844907_5b26c956ca_z.jpg

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

6096845523_c646480037_z.jpg

Spotted a blimp

Then in PA (of all places) this place - amazing - had beef jerky. I went to the south to get beef jerky but I find in the north.. wtf. Another reason for me NOT to go down south again.

6097393000_72afe26cb8_z.jpg

FINALLY I was in NY

6096849063_591ee445fd_z.jpg

Yay, and that ends my trip :-)

What size is the waist on these?

They are a 32. Keep in mind, however, that they have been hot washed and dried multiple times, so the waist measures a little slimmer than that, now. 3xxx denim has ridiculous shrinking qualities when it comes to hot washing. I'm a true size 32, and I could barely button these things. Such a rad pair of jeans.
