Yeah, they weren't very faded when I got them, but it's not like I've made much of a dent in them. The lap fades are starting to show, and there's some stack fades starting to peak through. But I think we've lost a couple months because the first wearer had to give them up early, and Cotton wasn't able to wear them hardly at all either.

But I have faith in adsurgo:D

I'll be sad to let them go though...

I was the first wearer... Anyway, at least they're getting some solid wear now. I'm sure we'll see a lot of change in the coming months.

ok so, it's getting to the end of my tenure and as much as I would like to keep these, I feel that it's only fair to pass them along.

But I don't have any definitive info on who's next. It's been said that adsurgo is next, but I tried PM'ing him and haven't heard back. Does anybody know him personally that can ask him to get in touch with me?

Or should we just wait a week and if we haven't heard back pass them on to Ordo? Just let me know what you guys want to do. Thanks.

Just keep wearing them until adsurgo responds. If we start thinking he won't respond we can figure out what to do.

I would say keep them another week or so and if he doesn't surface I can take them. I was hoping to get them when we have slightly longer daylight hours so I can get some shots out in the light, as well as taking them on a visit to their fellow Flat Heads at Sid's in New York next month. Whatever the case, I will PM you my info so you have it.

Prof told me in PM last month that he would like to go towards the end but wasn't sure of where he'd be or whether or not it'd work out. We'll just have to wait and see what happens with that.

Ok, this will be one of the last updates for me. I'm hoping to take some final pics by the weekend, then unless anyone's heard from adsurgo or profmonitoff, I'm going to send these on to Ordo this weekend hopefully.

As far as the fades, they are starting. The pics really sucked and don't do them justice, but the lap fades are starting to look good, the stack combs are starting, and the whiskers are setting in. But yeah, they look almost brand new and they've been through hell just with me, not to mention the craziness from the other side of the world.

I've returned from the post office, and the Flat Heads are off to Canada to meet up with Ordo. I have no idea when they'll get there, but hopefully it won't be long.

Adsurgo sent me a PM saying he would still like to be part of the tour. What does everyone think? Should he go after me? Or should I send these on to him now and go after him? If I wear them now it would save me double shipping. Thoughts?

Awesome, can't wait to see some pics from someone else's perspective. As far as adsurgo, he Pm'd me and I think it's totally fair that he's still in on this tour, but you should just keep them for this month, there's really no sense in wasting another week in shipping.

The notebook is very nice so far. I will definitely put some Canadian money in as well - though our smallest bills are 5s.
