Samurai s0210xj

Recommended Posts

Surprised nobody said anything about these yet, Samurai's 2007 model.

Seem to be BlueBell repro's., but they have the Lee style arcuates.

I really like them, they have all these quirky details that set them apart from all the Levi's inspired stuff. They seem fairly slim with a low rise.

I like 'm!

Just thought I'd throw them on here.

Pictures nicked from Samurai.

i like these alot, not enough to get them but i still like them alot, love that leather patch. i dont like the lee style arc, it looks like the same left hand denim used on the 'lee-pro' so that might be teh reason for it. but if i had to choose i would get the warehouse repro, or the edwin, or in other words the actual wrangler one.

Woah, I really like these. They might be my favorite pair of Samurai's. If I had money, I would definitely try to pick them up.

I was googling them, and then I came accross a japanese superfuture.

'Half-assed' howso? I could see that if you mean they're definitely NOT a faithful repro of the Wranglers, but Samurai always seems to go with a kind of a "roughly inspired by:" approach anyways.

If you look at the Samurai inspired lee repro (so110xj), you find a some nice lee details. No back procket rivets but nice tacking, left hand twill, samurai spin on lees lazy s, and of course lee back pockets. It's a little different, but not boring.

For the 210xj, I hate the color of the buttons on the fly, the "lee" samurai backpockets, and I think they could have made the leather patch more interesting. I'm not really nittpicky, but these things make the jean a shit sandwich.

I usually love Samurai's special editions, but this one missed the mark. I would rather pick up the 47' MW from Wrangler over the Samurai model.

Ah, you seem to have the same perspective as I do, the details make or break a pair of jeans! I love SDA because of the patch, W BB simply for the bell graphic, Momotaro/Japan blue because of the patch etc.

I think the 0210 is nice, I like the details etc. My only complaints is that I'd have liked to see a new type of denim for it, and the rise should be an inch higher.

The fit is the same/very similar to the S5000&0110.

The best Lee&Wrangler repros are made by Warehouse in my opinion, but they are many years old and sold out. The color of the Edwin Wrangler denim is quite bad in my opinion, I know a guy who's been wearing a pair for 6 months every day and there's no fade whatsoever on the whiskers and combs, only on the backpockets and seat.

Those rivets look REALLY uncomfortable... the "nipple" is on the inside of the jeans? Wouldn't that just poke into your bum the whole time?

Other than that, pretty good looking.

the rivets don't have a nipple, as on the S0110XJ. Personally i prefer my 110's to these, I don't like the exposed rivets or the coin pocket, as well as the combo of Lee lazy S and wranger leather patch. They are still a really interesting jean though, samurai crushes details like nobody else. Plus, if the denim is the same as the 110 it is really incredible, like no other jeans i have handled/seen.
