TAD, Maxpedition and Blackhawk is serious operator shit. The gear they make is designed to be abused in hash climates etc. If you are going to be using the bag as a piece of military equipment that you have to trust you life on then don't fucking skimp. If your going to carry some book and a laptop, get the cheaper shit. It's 70% of the build quality for less than half the price.

the arcteryx tango and echo are the ilbe models used by military..

i would love to get my hands on the black tango..but i hear they dont sell to civilians and are pretty strict about this issue

really like this pack, but ive not seen it in person and the price is a bit more than i would like to pay.

this is a side pic of my pack... medium surplus alice pack. love it. easily holds a pair of shoes, a couple tees, and a 12 pack, phone, cigs, herbs, blunts, and still have a pocket or 2 left over

Maxpedition and Blackhawk aren't that hardcore, they are in the thoroughly mediocre region as far as nylon goes.

Kifaru is at the top of the pile. Eagle stuff is the shit. TAD stuff is the shit.
