That was my thought as well. While I don't think they look awful, something feels off with the look. I think to really pull off April 77s one has to be both skinny and tall (although not so tall that one looks gangly).

also i disagree with the idea to pull off skinny denim like april77 one needs to be tall--a person just needs to be skinny and for guys it's even more lenient because guys don't even need to have long slender legs for them (which is what females in any skinny jeans need to look "right" for most ppl's opinion--personally a woman who is proportional and wears skinny/tapered jeans with confidence looks good).

i agree with jmatsu in that they're too big as is so it looks really mediocre.

but if you have significant hip curve perhaps avoid truly skinny cuts ...unless you want to look like a girl--but i can't even clearly see either way 'cause yer pics are crap.
