i think thabeet goes 2 to memphis. i hope harden goes 3 so the kings have their pick of PG's. i want rubio or holiday. not sold on flynn at #4 and the kings are really high on him since he stood out in the 3 way pg battle over the weekend (jennings, holiday and flynn) that would have been something to see in person.

i think holiday will be the real "bust" for the incoming class. kid's athletic, but i don't think he'll be able to hang with other guards. his ball handling and passing ability are sub-par for a point, in my opinion. personally i'd take stephen curry over him.

then again, i'd take stephen curry as a point over almost every other incoming guard.

curry doesn't have true pg capabilities either, and he's small. He could work in NY though. One thing he can do for sure is score.

The real bust imo is going to be Hasheem Thabeet. The guy has no offensive game at all and I don't think he has the determination or passion to improve. He was pretty much pushed into bball in HS (?) because he was tall and long and he happens to be African. Olowokandi anyone ?

is there seriously not a single clippers fan on superfuture?

i root for them after the warriors and blazers in the west

it's embarrassing but whatevzzzzzzz

me.... they won't get anywhere with Dunleavy though. Eric Gordon + Blake Griffin (Thornton if he learns to play smarter) should be good but you know Dunleavy is going to fuck it up by benching Griffin and play zbo in his shitty half court offense. god i hate Dunleavy, Roeser and Sterling.

I hear Baron Davis is losing weight....

i actually like curry's ball handling and courtvision. to me it was more like nobody got to see him as a point because his team was garbage, he WAS davidson (as we all know). but i think if he was put into the right system, he would be able to be a great point guard and threat. i agree with you NY would be a good spot for him, just don't want to see him drown with that franchise. no hate on NY, hopefully they pick it up with that cap space.

and yeah, thabeet won't fare too well in the NBA, the olowokandi thing made me laugh

he was measured at 6'3 thats pretty ideal for a guard. If he can be a rich man's chris duhon he'll be fine in NY but I think he'll be gone before 8th with his stock rising.

he might be the next mutombo. he had limited offense too, but either way i dont want him on my team

Well, you never know but from what I've read, teams are turned off by his lack of passion. Im sure he'll be fine as a defender / rebounder/ shot blocker as long as whoever drafts him doesn't set expectations above that. BJ Mullens is going to suck though... he's certainly no better than DeAndre Jordan who was drafted in the 2nd round last year. Same freakishly long arms and height but little production in college and polish offensively.

Teams are fiending for centers. Andrea Bargani, Andrew Bogut, Dwight Howard, Greg Oden all recent #1 picks.

His height is fine for a pg but hes on the skinny side. Ex. Eric Gordon is short for a sg (6'5 listed) but hes over 220 pounds and has long arms. I think somehow Stephen Curry got pushed in to this pg title because of his height and weight. As of now, I don't think he can effectivley be a playmaker in the NBA. His turnovers to assists was 1.5 (3.7 TOs to 5.6 AST overall) which is pretty bad for a pg. To compare Jose Calderon who has the best TO to AST ratio is over 1:4.

Anywho... this doesn't really matter until we see him play in the NBA. It will be interesting if he gets stuck in a halfcourt offense though, where his size will be exposed more.

NY is headed int he right direction imo.. They got rid of Marbury (although they're still paying him for last season) and ZBo (at the expense of the Clippers) they got rid of Isiah Thomas and brought in D'antoni. They just need to follow with the plan, cut salary and don't settle for less than a star in 2010. If they don't get a star in NY it would be kind of sad though. Apparently, they are not going to re-sign David Lee and Nate Robinson which they will probably regret. They need to do something with Eddy Curry...

And the funny thing about Olowokandi is, he was so highly regarded. I mean no one expected him to be a bust. The same websites, writers, papers and Tv shows all say Olowokandi is worthy of the #1 pick back in 1999 but now they're the ones laughing because they don't have to take responsibility for their work. Remember, Darko Milicic was supposed to be good too but Detriot got a pass (For a while) because they won the championship that year. If Blake Griffin turns out to be a bust, everyone is going to be laughing at the Clippers, despite they themselves had them #1 on their mock draft, bitches.

apparently the trade for Al Jefferson + 6th pick for Amare is off the table. I would of taken that in a heartbeat if I was Phoenix. where do you guys think Amare is going or is he staying?

well it was never on the table. No way in hell would the Wolves take that deal. Amare would leave immediatley in 2010 and give up #6 and Al Jefferson, who is pretty damn good in his own right. Amare isn't leaving in the offseason imo. If the Suns aren't playing well by the trade deadline, I think the Suns will seriously listen to offers. He's not going to fetch alot right now because of his eye injury. Im not too sure if Sarver (phx owner) is fully committed to winning because of the money he's losing in his other business (banking ? i think). Same reason there are Shaq rumors flying.
