A bit late notice, but there is a Japanese denim label having their US launch party tonight in NYC.

I haven't heard of the line before, but I will be sure to report back.

The collection isn't my cup of tea, but I am very interested to see what is coming out of Japan.

I think union has been carrying these guys. Definitely not my cup of tea, but I'm sure it'll make millions if the bape kids cling on to it.

The party ended up being quite crowded but surprisingly fun. I ended up leaving early though and going downtown.

I just heard today though that Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco started performing about 5 minutes after I left! I wish I got to see them perform as it would have been a total surprise and another nyc moment.

the party was cool,... a lot of japanese hip hop kids, Big O was there as well but he didn't perform. Open bar from 8-10ish is always a good thing.
