Not much - new GOMA (try hard moma) has opened in southbank.

I suggest heading 1 hour north to the sunshine coast or 1 hour south to the gold coast and check out the great beaches.

How is Brisbane nowadays? I grew up in Sandgate in the 80's and early '90's, and haven't been back since. Judging from the list above it seems like it still isn't super exciting... I'm thinking about tagging along with my parents in June and would probably need stuff to do.. anything nightlife/culture wise? good topless beaches at least? I remember being like 8 years old and going to Noosa Head beach and being blown away by so many breasts, fond childhood memory.

dismal, it's alrite, basically still a smaller version of sydney. there isn't much to do. if your into the nitelife scene check out fortitude valley. the family and the met (new) are the superclubs if you're into dance music. that's about it!
