Will they stretch out to the same size that they would have if I had simply soaked them? Will this cause any weird side effects?

No. Nothing will be different except they will be shrunk more so than if you just hot soaked yourself and hung dry.

Continuing with that thought, since they will be shrunken more will they not end up at the same length post stretch that they would have if only soaked by me?

I hot soaked mine in boiling water for 5 hours twice and then cold washed them. The inseam shrank to about 36.5in and the inseam stayed the same. I'm going to send them to BiG to be hemmed.

Has the BiG wash process method been discussed yet? I haven't been on the board in a few days.

Soak (unkown temperature), tumble dry. Same process as companies like Sugar Cane, Eternal, etc.

Upper thigh: 12.5"

Knee: 9.25"

Leg opening: 8.75"

Inseam: 36.5"

The 103 one-washed size 32:

Waist: 32"

Frt rise: 10.25"

Back rise: 14"

Upper thigh: 11.5"

Knee: 8.5"

Leg opening: 8"

Inseam: 33.5"

They shink all the way down to tag size. The inseam on sams would be 36.5"-36"

aw man 33.5 is a bit short for me...if i ever pick up one of these jeans i will probably have to do the work myself

Actually I was wondering about different companies' processes of doin their one wash...my 45 RPM one wash sorahikos are significantly shorter inseam than my actual distressed sorahikos (although the distressed was an old model, maybe that had something to do with it).
