^ had those too. definitely one of the most comfy skate shoes i owned thanx to that dope neoprene sock. they got destroyed in months though.

my favorite will always remain the emerica reynolds 1's. must've owned 5 pairs of those alone.

Black/Black 'eS Accels (with white laces)

Emerica Marc Johnsons

Vans Rowley 1's

Koston 1's (navy/gum)

Half Cabs +Dunk Lows

Looks wise:

Axion Mariano's and those Muska 'eS' were the shit.

Somehow I skated those Stevie Williams DC's once.

all i wore for most of the 90s were sal 23s... loved the kck, and the first series of axion. only pair of vans i ever skated in the 90s were the carrols... best half cab ever

I had like all the pro models that looking back now are pretty ugly or non-functional. eS Muska's, eS Koston 2 (I loved these actually), DC Williams, Osiris ODS (Peter Smolik's shoe that is actually a boot), these one Axion Kareem Campbells that were like $100 and were absolute SHIT. Any rubber toe cap sucks, I used to think ohh so durable.

For a while I got really comfortable with ipath Cats which in retrospect is pretty surprising.

eS Koston 1 is probably my fav shoe looking back.

i used to skate w/ adidas superstars. weren't too bad. skated the first muska pro models into oblivion. probably my favorite pair of skate shoes.

thought older shoes were probably a bit overrepresented in the top 10 and was probably missing a few more mid-late 90's such as E's Sal 2 and 3 (the one Burnquist redid), Creager and even the first Mcrank. DC has also so many dope shoe in that era that are probably missing like some of the McKay, Howard and Dyrdek and those with the DC logo on the heel that everyone had. But that's when i was most into skating so perhaps it ain't fair to single out that era

for top 5, i would have had

1: Koston 1

2: Sal 23

3: Half Cab

4: DC Kalis 1

5: Emerica MJ 1

that marc johnson shoe was the first skate shoe that I remember being really excited about. I love those shoes. think i learned how to kickflip wearing those. they were not too big and felt so nice.
