super stoked that's syndicate's doing more half-cabs this spring. yesterday was the first i'd heard about them and had been thinking they were gonna lay off them for a season. def gonna grab the browns and greys. toooo many half-cabs this year! speaking of which, I've been trying to hunt down these couple pairs (of non-syndicates), so if anyone's seen them online or at a local spot let me know!:

Chukkas look real nice but I'm disappointed w/ the Half Cabs. Is there something I'm not seeing like some sort of pattern or texture to the leather? Need to start looking for them to see them in person.

crookedtongues.com has more/better pictures. they're suede, and the side panels, toebox and ankle collar are all completely perforated. nice touch, especially for summer. even w/out the perforation they'd still be sick tho...i mean, suede half-cabs in classic solid-colors other than just black, and w/the classic patch? perfection.

haha, i think they're somewhere between vault and mall...it seems like the only places that have them so far are boutiques / vault accounts (huf, blends, shoe biz, etc.) and core skate shops. managed to track down the mustards and the baby blues but still after the whites and 'cordovans' (burgundy/blacks). i'm thinking/hoping these'll all end up on zappos at some point...
