ok, I'd love to give you guys the link, but this goddamn thing is taking for FUCKING EVER to upload. Like, internet on campus is slow, but this is unheard of. It's going 2.5k/sec right now. It's been at 25% for literally 3 hours. I don't have any other way to get it to you guys, and I dunno when its gonna be done. At this point, it would be faster if I just put it to CD and mailed it...

Someone gimme a recommendation. Right now I'm using sendspace since its close to 300mb and I need a large uploader, but seriously, this is ridiculous.

sounds like hypemachine?

i think you'll find skreemr to be a lot more fun, and definitely a lot more useful, it has a direct link to the mp3 for every search result.

my friend offered me $60 to help him DJ at a campus nightclub thing. i told him i didnt have a set up, he says i can use his numark director d2. what a hokey shit.

sorry for the enormous pic.

And if no one has these tracks yet, Daft Punk Live At Coachella:

http://www.skreemr.com/results.jsp?q=daft+punk+coachella

back a couple months before alive '07 came out my friend had a copy of the coachella set on a cd. i held off on burning it until i justified doing so, hey its an old coachella set from a few years back im sure the officially released version will be different. so i did and kept on patiently waiting for alive's release. then it does and i come to a quick realization that its pretty much the exact same thing. goes without saying i was a bit disappointed.

i've heard there are a few minor differences though. anyone catch on to a few of them?

get @ me about this networking shit.

For networking? Just talking to the owners or who ever runs the place, start making friends with other djs. Cause alot of the time they have played at various places who can tell you which place was good or bad to play in. Besides they know other people too. Dealing with promoters can be a hassle, so stick to owners of the place. Make a demo and talk to the owner of the place and dont undersell yourself for like 150 bucks for 5 hours or something cause thats bullshit. Get business cards, staples has a special like 300 cards for 20 bucks or something. Anyone you meet, you give a card; you never know whose industry.

Also, what did you think of the mix that I sent you a while back?

i'm sorry shagnscoob, but all these links you're throwing out...you're so fuckin late to electro

i heard these tracks when i was in my mom's womb

i don't hate much on this forum either

Haha im owned. I'm just too cheap to have bought alive 2007. My little brother has it and I don't, sad right? At least I admit it though.

networking: I just had to read this book for a class called "Brag!" by Peggy Klaus. It's all about networking and making good impressions. Check it out.

alive 2007s encore (last track) is probably the greatest thing ever of all time (live). except sex and love.

but love sucks 90% of the time so alive 2007.& sex win.

funny you say that. its been the background music for 2 or 3 of my lay lady lay evenings. the parts with the harder better faster stronger vocal sample are quite encouraging.

totally dude. when that coachella mp3 came out i was just flipping my shit man, probably the more memorable times i've had with electronic music. the whole format just blew my mind. from that first listen i made a promise to myself that i'd go to the closest daft punk show whenever they would tour. then they announced alive '07, then i flew to keyspan park.

i forget some of the differences (besides the coachella set not having the encore). i think the part from technologic to television is delayed a bit in coachella. the ONLY regret i have about seeing them is that i listened to that coachella mp3 way too fucking much and basically had it memorized, so at the show i already knew what was coming.

i also made this recreation a while back of the final track before encore. i have an extremely limited knowledge of music production, so sorry if the pitch is off or whatever the fuck.

http://www.mediafire.com/?jqygiyth3m3

*spaceman i tried to rep. the encore is bigger than words man. so fucking perfect!
