ddc lab has been making selvedge denim for quite some time.. and they had natural indigo models for a long time too... i think i have a pair still somewhere.

ddc lab has been producing selvage for a quite a long time like he said. i had a pair about 5 years ago that i bought for $40 on sale at this little boutique. they are nothing to go screamin about. i had the washed model, but mine were a little more distressed than the ones shown above. they were unsanforized (leg twist), didn't have the exposed coin pocket selvage, hidden rivets on back pockets and chainstitched hems. i'm guessing they were a '47 esque repro -- slightly lower rise, maybe like 11 inch. they had great vertical fading and the weft was greycasted.

funny thing is, i sold them on ebay -- this was before i had knew anything about the thrill of all the vintage details and selvage etc. even more funny is that they sold for $110 . . .

yes, i will take you, $70 profit . . .
