so the jeans have been washed once is what you're saying? how were they washed (just soaked? or was detergent and a machine cycle used?) and were they hanged to dry?

one-wash is a specific wash by PBJ themselves. my understanding is that they offer both one-wash and no-wash. no-washes are shrink-to-fit, and are oversized when you buy them; they shrink to their tag size after you wash them several times (or soak, whichever). one-washes are sized exactly according to their tag size initially, so a 29 fits as such without having to wash or soak. regardless, they all remain dry and dark.

i don't know the specifics of PBJ's technique with one-washing. but they're new, with tags, and i haven't made any modifications/alterations/whatever.
