How to Shrink normal (prwashed,non-raw) denim?

my mom bought me a pair of jeans for a good deal but they are 33 in waist but i usually wear 30-31..and sometimes 32...how can i shrink it enough to at least to bring it down 1 size..right now it makes me look like i have no ass and the crotch area kinda sags abit.which makes it look kinda wierd

throw them in the dryer or soak 'em in hot water,but the shrinkage will be minimal compared to unwashed jeans...use the search button please

a wash in tears tend to be good for shrinkage.

Bring it to the tailor and get him to do massive resewing at the back (by removing the threads right at the back seam and sewing it back with more material tucked in) in order to reduce the waist to your proper size but please note he cannot do too much resewing because that will bring the pockets way too close together.

As for big and baggy waist, that depends on the cut and design of the jeans. If it is done that way, there is only so much you can do.
