however!

a 53mm crystal diameter is fucking absurd unless you're a) a massive guy or happen to be underwater/flying an airplane... i think my entire wrist measures just over 53mm...

that was the cheaper quartz version....retailed around $600. this is the much more expensive and limited automatic version (no batteries ever needed).

Very true, but few are automatic, but in any instance U-Boat just licenses their movement. Anyways, yeah, lower the price. Anything under $1000 will be superb.

You can't get a NEW one from the store at less than a grand. The second hand/reseller market is different. It is like a stereo or car, the minute you are off the lot/outta the store, it lose 1/3 of its value. Why do you think some people don't buy new cars? They don't want the depreciation hit.
