At $200 its a bargain. they go for around 30,000 Yen on Rakuten and Hawaii 40401's are for approx. $300 on History Preservation. Do the math (i dont think its needed ) I'd buy them myself but i wear 30W 32L. Beyond doubt my favorite pair of jeans though.

the difference would be negligible. these jeans are a real challenge to fade, i'm finally getting somewhere with mine----i've been working on them for about six months, but i've got the equivalent of a two to three month fade with a pair of run-of-the-mill jeans. sizing down w/ these jeans just doesn't make sense. no use fighting the cut.
