i know it sounds whitetrash

but costco is the best place to go for designer glasses

i went there for mine and i was like shit look at all of these

there was like whole racks of dolce and gabanna glasses and ralph lauren

i know they arent the super chic dior kind of designers but they still make some beautiful glasses

and because tis costco they are fucking cheap as hell

i got these d/g ones that were priced at 99, but at costco all glasses were 120 off so i basically got them for free, i just had to pay for the lenses

pretty fucking worth it.

LOL !! I don't mean to sound rude, but that's just too much. Costco is good to stock on toilet and fax paper, but to shop there for your eyewear is just beyond ridiculous. It's your face, the first thing people see! Treat it nicely, don't saddle it with a cheap pair of frames. You know, some people can see the quality eyewear from a mile away.

yo those diors are actually quite nice. I have a question maybe someone can answer:

was in jeffrey nyc about a month ago and saw they had a pair of dior homme sunglasses that were really classic style (all black). like updated version of wayfarers maybe. have any idea what those are or where to buy them?

you read what he wrote? he said he found BRAND NAME frames.

I did read what he wrote, and that is precisely why I replied the way I did. There are brand names, and then there are licensed products that have nothing to do with the brand and the image the brand embodies.

If you think that owning a pair of D&G shades or specs is equivalent of owning a Dolce and Gabbana suit, you're fooling yourself. Seen Dolce suits at Costco lately? How about shoes?

Ask yourself, what the hell is this product doing in a wholesale wearhouse next to the pile of size 18 ladies' supertrunks?... Makes you wanna wear it, doesn't it? Eyewear is the new parfume and if you want quality, you must look past the logos. They are there only to milk the simpletons.

read my sig asshole.^

costco is great to go to for frames and shit like that, it's not about the damn name on the glasses it's about how well they fit your face. The glasses I wear have frames on em that cost like $70 or something cheap like that, but they look awesome, and cheap helps when your lenses have to be all fancy cause of how bad your sight is and an eye condition and are a couple hundred a piece.

that's why you get lasik ;)

you aight keri? the guy sells frames, its like if someone came on the board and told shinichi that costco/target is carrying nice denim (they DO carry BRAND NAME Levi's don't they?). i am in support of spending money on quality eyewear - after all if you're an eyeglass wearer you wear them everyday for a year or more...

Costco is great if you need a big jar of inedible olives, not eywear. When you grow up, you will understand.

so what if they are from costco

they are glasses, obtained for free

of course they arent a suit

i didnt buy them because they are D/G

i bought them because they fit like a dream and

look lovely

they are glasses

if they

A. Work

B. Look Good

C. Fit

D. Durable

whats the fucking deal, who cares if they are from costco

maybe for all of you hardcore

im far too elite and beyond everything remotely suburban

i can only get my glasses from Mikli and other glasses specialists

who cant take a step into costco

because the discounts might stain your golden Dior Homme boots (mouko style)

costco isnt the place

but for a person who isnt some yuppie with loads of cash to blow on eyewear

it is.

ps. not to hate on mouko and his boots, i respect his sense of style very much, they just came to mind.

after some thought

i apologize, i see that we are of different persuasions

i do what i can with the little money that i have as i am yet to be released itno the real world yet so i enjoy a nice product wtihout spending loads even if it might not be the best choice out tehre

and some of you all are in positions where you can chose from a variet of choices available for whatever it sit hat you desire and have enough cash to go for the best of the best

its just a point of view sort of thing.
