Denim Help

Hello,

I love this site but I'm not much of a denim head. I recently purchased some regular old levis 501. They fit fine and all but I don't like the wrinkled/creased look at the back of the legs of the jeans (right where your cav muscles are). I don't know the exact name of that style but I hate it…. excuse my denim vocab.

I tried ironing them out and washing but nothing works.

Does anyone know how to get rid of them?

cut them off and turn them into shorts, that should solve your problem.

those are called honeycombs, or Hachinosu.

most folk in superdenim work hard to get honeycombs.

i don't think there is a way to prevent them from occuring save for:

a) never wearing the jeans

never bending your legs

sounds like hes talking about pre-distressed honeycombs(?) if that is the case you need to just get raw or one wash jeans.

yeah combs come as a result of the bending of your legs...it's impossible to prevent them from bunching up as you walk, unless your jeans are really baggy.

even if you bought raw, you'd still get the "wrinkles" and the honeycombs would come over time

These 'honey combs' or 'wrinkles' came already with the jeans. Is there any way to get rid fot them if they're pre-distressed honeycombs like cheapmutha said?

if you can already see the fading, you can't really do much about it, short of dipping it in a vat of indigo dye....i think?
