No, you wouldn't need to size down more. Some people even size up one with the washed jeans because the legs are slimmer and they don't stretch as much.

Unfortunately all I have in Grey Distressed is a size 28. I can't get any more, they were for S/S '07 and they sold out some time ago.

They're exactly the same as the raws. So 16.5 and 17cm respectively.

Well I've had the MIJ 19cms stack around the ankles of my chelsea boots before, so I don't think the hem should be too small. The hem of a 21cm MII would be rather large though.

Those are indeed the same jeans. The pairs that I have on hand look like the ones on that Japanese site. They are no where near as shiny as shown on the LVR site.

The first post's sizing guide is primarily based on my experience with the claw/used jeans. A 28 is going to measure 30", and MIGHT stretch out up to an inch. Add the fact that they run slimmer than the equivalent size in raws, and you definitely got a pair that was too small.

Stopped by the store today to look around as I have not checked out the fall stuff yet -- wow, those polyurethane coated ones are really something...not something I'd wear but certainly unique. They are not as gaudy in real life as the photos online show which make them more appealing. Also there is a grey pair with white selvage going for $400. Had an interesting feel to it, soft surface texture but stiff. I couldnt figure out if they're supposed to be raw or distressed!
