Did you order through Rakuten? These pants aren't available "internationally," so did you go through a Proxy service? I want these pants, but JAA (the proxy service i use) charges too much.

I ordered through sutocorp

1.Stuff price : 20790 yen

2.Local shipping fee : 0 yen

3.Bank fee : 300 yen ( 300 yen per transaction -->1 transaction ) 4.EMS shipping fee : 2400 yen (about 800 gram From Japan to UK), http://buyingservice.sutocorp.com/index.php?/shipping.html

Our fee is 8% = 1879 yen.

Total price including paypal fee (4%) is 26383 yen

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a pair of Mister Freedom Chino Riders. Some of my jeans are somewhat loose and, frankly, I'm done with loose waisted pants. A size 30 is perfect on me - what size Chino Riders should I get? Not sure if they are true to size.

I converted sizing for the 30, 31 and 32 on a few Japanese sites, but they are all different measurements.

Help!!

I haven't seen much discussion on the chinos, so I'm not sure how much help you'll get here. Try contacting Katherine or Jared at Mister Freedom. They should be able to give you sizing info if no one here can.

They are on a few sites now?

OK, so, generally, it's not such a great idea to call up a shop and ask for sizing info if you are not going to buy from them. The reason why MF can't really help is because they haven't received them yet. And, yes, as far as I understand, Japan is not supposed to sell MF (all SC?) to the US.

Yeah, but you all know how it is when an amazing new product comes out... you drop everything and do what you can to obtain it. It's all over Yahoo Japan, but I couldn't nail down the sizing. So... in fear of not being able to get my hands on one (at under $300 - 'cause you all know it'll retail here for at least $100 more), I called them per ThisSunday's recommendation (it's HIS fault :-) ...kidding).

Well, I pulled the trigger on a size 32. I'd rather have it a little bigger than smaller. After all, they look to be a true 50's fit as is the Dungaree version, so if they shrink I should be good. Worst case, I'll put 'em up for sale. I too, will provide pics and feedback upon arrival.

Does anyone have or know where I can find fit pictures of the Horsehide Greaser Cap? I found a page on Rakuten where they say it's 58cm (22.8") around. I wear a size 7 (22") cap/hat, so this may look big on me, but would love to see pics for reference.

Any reviews on the cap from those who have tried it on?

Thanks!!

FYI, japan-auction-agency is on top of their game. In the past, I've had to remind them twice that I've submitted an order day's/1 week after the fact. That can mean the difference between you getting the item or it selling out during that delay. Last night I placed the order for my MF Chino Riders, they recieved it, processed the order and purchased it in less than a few hours time. I hope the delivery is as seamless.

I can't wait!!!

DeadWizard, you have a good point there. You might have just saved me $250 (purchasing through JAA, that is).

Cheers!!

Found this on my doorstep when I got home, so I thought I'd let it in.

Yeah, I figured I couldn't go wrong, considering they are just about the perfect shirt for me. I can't imagine MF not doing future runs of the shirt, but better safe than sorry :)

(not too much. Pretty much gave up on SF, but am still around here)

Why not just exchange them for a larger size than going through all the trouble of selling them, etc..

^ Got them via a proxy so can't exchange which is a shame & the shop they got them from only had up to a w34. I have ordered a 36 already as I really like these & I don't think there will be too many pairs knocking around, just hope I don't get stuck with the 34's. This is one of the problems of ordering direct from Japan..

Maybe Kiya is trying to emphasize the benefits of waiting and ordering them in the states. I always get a little sketched out when ordering a garment I am not too familiar with, especially if it is expensive.
