What to wear with corduroys

I can't think of (specific) things to wear above the waist with corduroys. Like a pullover hoody is the best I can think of and I'm not really feeling it. Maybe I'm just too addicted to denim. Any ideas would help.

agreed. i have some slim black cords, and the pieces i wear with them aren't really any different to what i would wear with slim jeans.

Flannel shirts and courds duh! They go together like penutbutter n jelly. Anyone remember grunge style of the 90's?

Wear it with v-neck sweater with shirt underneath and with a pair of simple sneaker. French style look i would say.

wool jumpers, v or crew neck, plaid shirts look cool, kinda soft autum casual, im thinking of what I wear with my cords ( although I seem to live in jeans now thanks to this forum ), brown shoes, loafers.

I allways think I look like a fool when I wear my leather jacket with my cords.

Slim (not skinny) navy cords + black chelsea boots + a slim asphalt v-neck thin wool sweater + white button-up with navy stripes.

It's pretty chill outside so I wear a black gauzy linen scarf and leather jacket

When in doubt always tuck your (dress)shirts and untuck your tees, this outfit is no exception. Anyway most dress shirts aren't adapted to be worn untucked (too long) and not square enough.

I agree. I think it might work with an untucked shirt if you wanted to be excessively casual, but yeah, it sounds like this would work best with a tucked shirt.

Me personally, Ive never felt comfortable wearing anything but polos with cords.
