I agree mate, mine is about 4 years old (roughly) and It is impossible to fold the thing down into a bag on a day trip for instance and it does way a ton!

For me these two, because really hard to replace. I'd grab these two things if the apartment was on fire (I'd come back for the kids later).

 

Denime 1951. I got into the whole denim thing just as Hayashi san was selling up. Since then its always need a regret that I chose a pair of flathead's over denime that day in Osaka.

I managed to find these in a market in Thailand and just had to have them. I love the feel of the denim on these.

 

 

New Balance X Concepts

A left field choice for here as it always seems to be about boots, but I'm not really a boots kinda person. First time I've broken the $300 ceiling for a pair of trainers. I actually don't get that much wear out of them as my kids are clumsy and needs to be on well broken in denim days. Still I love them.
