as far as i know hats are considered, 'accesory' and tax does apply.

at least i've been being charged tax....and the boutique i work at charges tax on hats..

i've been charged tax on any of the hats i've bought from the NYC store. last time i was in there, they b arely had any search and destroy hats left and that was about 2 weeks ago.

all i know is i grabbed a pair of shoes and a hat, total was like 100 i think, and the guy was like yeah no tax on stuff under 110, and i said cool.

and the nbhd new eras do look quite nuts, theres just so many god damn new eras everywhere these days though
