I've been to Bamn a couple of times now, and I think I'm pretty much addicted to at least half of the stuff. I thought it would be all gimmick, but the food is fucking tasty!

Chicken nuggets, peanut butter and jelly empanada, macaroni and cheese croquette, the teriyaki burgers, the pizza dumplings, spam musubi... all awesome.

nothing costs more than 2 bucks except for an order of fries, which is 4 bucks. but it is a huge order of fries, and comes with your choice of dipping sauce, like a pommes frites place.

me and my girl went there around new year's, it was cool. who would have thought of rice pudding. Her friend told her about it, like it was one of his NYC secret spots he found. Turns out he saw it in that Will Smith movie Hitch. loser.

don't bother with serendipity, long ass line, almost everyone in there is a knob. food is ok but way overpriced. rice to riches is ok if you like that stuff. both are one time visit places but RtR is at least worth it.

they're on an incredibly well-trafficked street, and manage to pull random folks in by the second because of the fact that it stands out visually and is cheap. while i can see this place failing miserably after the allure wears off, i can also see it becoming incredibly successful.

i really liked the spam, croquettes, and spuds

but i think the teriburger was pretty overcooked and not so tasty

went the food sucked, had fries and the spam sushi stuff (per the hype) it wasn't really any good, but i'll be back regardless

rice to riches sucks too, makes be feel like i'm in the worst tasting ice cream store in the world
