Not sure about myself...probably something Japanese becuase it would have to be durable and high quality to last and not fall apart. But then again I would be happy with some Dior Hommes in my size.

Probably LVC S501xx 1944. Best overall fit of the LVC for my body type. I sold all my 551ZXX because the zipper was just too suspect for me and I had visions of getting them just right and blowing out the damn zipper. For fit alone I would have to say my new Nudies but I just don't know how that style would hold up in the long run. The LVC are just so timeless.

I'm actually one of those people who hates extra, so one or two paors of jeans would do me just fine, since that's all i'd wear anyway even if I had 50, is my fav one or two. Just dont know what the best'd be, although, some Iron Army are on my wishlist.

good call. you need to treat them like they are your only pair, regardless. i've been pretty frustrated lately b/c i am close to washing time (sniff test failure) and i've barely dented these. i am swearing off natural indigo for a minute-------though i will keep my correct indigo appreciation society membership card, thank you very much.

I actually only have one pair because I don't wear jeans more than about twice a week. When it's time I'll replace them and still only have one pair. I'm leaning toward a pair of sugar canes but since I have a bit of time I'm not nailed down. The info here is doing a good job of getting me up to speed on what's out there before I buy my next pair.

you know, i've always thought it interesting how there're a few groups of people on superdenim: the japanese brand enthusiasts (talking about slubby denim, heavyweight denim, mad natural indigo), the skinny jean guys (looking for APC, nudie, julian red, dior, other related brands), and then the vintage lovers (LVC, thrift shopping, occasionally repros). it's just amazing to see the different groups come to the same board to share info, OCDs, etc.
