local restaurant that serves up conveyor belt in toronto like sushi like the ones in cheap sushi places in tokyo?

I hate the buffet style that pop up everywhere now and want a change

Fune on Simcoe has floating boats, which is kind of like the conveyor belt. Not cheap at all.

If you must go to this type of sushi restaurant try to sit next to where the chef puts it on the belt/boat/etc. Or just make requests for fresher fish that hasnt been going on circles forever.

hows the pricing at the restaurant?

there are around 6-8 colour coded plates and at the end they just add up your stack of plates. it starts at $2.95 all the way to $7.95 or so. Keep in mind all the good plates are > $5. To get full with some asahi, you're looking at $30-40/person. Keep in mind it's more for the experience than the food as I've had much better sushi in many other places. And over time, it gets nauseous since the damn boats keep moving in front of you.

Like most Asians, I'm a sushi/sashimi fanatic and the food was mediocre at best. I grew up watching those damn TVB dramas/JDoramas and the conveyor belt sushi was often shown so I just had to try it out.
