Getting lenses cut for glasses frames

this depends very much on what your prescription is and what your needs are. If you have a basic, simple prescription, fancy-schmancy lenses with all sorts of treatments will cost 5-6 times as much as basic, plain lenses and be of no benefit whatsoever.

i was infact referring to putting sunglass lenses in...my bad. I keep being told everywhere does it but i went to over 5 places on weekend and none of them could do it .

i guess ill just have to explore the glasses stores of NY until i get lucky

prescription sunglasses are really expensive and lenses can only be put into select frames.

all sunglass lenses have some kind of a curve to them, and whether or not its even possible to put prescription lenses depends on how deep that curve is.

getting regular lenses put into a pair of frames should be easy though just talk to a glasses store.

If it's not the right frame, you have no hope. Most all places should be able to do this, if they cant, they have to be shitting you. If you have a script, you should think of those progressive ones, they are aweosme, I love mine, i dont squint all the time anymore.

Found some place however the are charging $85 for lenses with a fade in them...is this too much?
