i used some woolite. i was too lazy to get the good stuff. i put just one capful, but it was still very sudsy. with the PBJs, there is very little indigo bleed.

so the x-005s are slimmer than the SD-103s? but is the SD-103 slim in the first place? im also deciding between these 2... im looking for slimmer cut denim... but then im afraid as so many ppl post as if the x-005s wont fade for a long time

SD-103 is slim, but XX-005 is slightly slimmer. the XX-005s look great even when they don't have any wear. if you are looking for a project jean, the SD-103s are a nice choice.

agree, i feel with the slubby denim, fading is a bit easier and more uniform, but the sd103's w/o starch is a serious undertaking, denim is very nice...but hard to fade

wore the xx-005s while they were still wet. did some work and then took a nap with them on. anyways, they fit really nice now.

they didn't shrink too much, actually. i only used cold water though and soaked for 2-3 hours.

So I too soaked mine last night.

Left them in cold running water bath tub for about an hour. Put them on and wore them in the tub for another hour (while waxing off a 6 pack...highly reccomended when sitting in cold ass water for an hour). Hung them up to dry and put them back on after about 2 hours. I got very similar results to Miz.

These jeans are gonna be fucking beautiful.

I wouldn't cold soak unless you plan on always washing cold in the future. They will shrink again when you wash them warm.

I also don't agree that SD103's are hard to break in. They are quite fast/easy in my experience, but i can't compare to PBJ's.

if you bought them from B.I.G. (which carl and i did) they are RAW.

pure blue also sells a one wash XX-005 but B.I.G. doesn't have them.

I got mine from xcoldricex and I'm pretty sure they were one-wash. It's not like I've really even made a dent in these yet anyway, so if they are in fact raw it won't kill me to soak it.
