Barber in NYC?

Go hit Astor Place Haircutters, eventho its seems like a barber shop they do good trendy cuts. My impression of a barber shop is cheap cuts, a saloon is a whole different thing. So there.

I need something corporate that I can style to go out on weekends. I don't really know what particular style, nothing hood or too european.

I guess by barber i meant salon as well by association.

Then you're looking for a saloon then and be better spending money there. Search this forum there are a lot of good ones discussed here before. Barber shop is like that comedy movie that came out or one of those joints where Eddie Murphy got his in Coming to America. hahahah!

you definitely want a salon or stylist. when you say "barber" in NYC, people gonna think you talkin bout going to a 'hood spot to get a fresh fade and/or shape up.
