I really like the look of them. Has anybody seen these before and has experience of fit? These have appeared on ebay before with a much larger price tag, does anyone know what they retailed for?

I know they're limited addition so there might not be much information out there but appreciate any help.

Thanks.

they're Wrangler 11MWZ reproductions, as the auction states. Someone posted a thread about them, a while ago, but I can't remember what it was called. Try searching for X-26 ... alternatively, search for the word "pigboy" posted by ringring....

I have a pair.

One of my favourite releases of 2005. Left hand, grey weft red line selvedge. The fit is 'regular' - not slim, not baggy. Front rise will be around 11" in a size 32. They whisker up pretty quick. And of course, confer the wearer, the much coveted Champion Pigboy status ;)

Only 300 pairs made.

What did it come to all up LFC? (if you don't mind saying)

Can't remember exact price but around the $300 mark.Still available on some sites in w32 from looking on web.

Are you in the UK?

Yes.If coldrice has left Japan you could try Milwaukee ( mil-mil.net ) but you'll pay 20% commission.

Just out of interest, ringring, what were your other favourite releases recently?

I see a fair amount of denim and stuff impresses me all the time. Off the top of my head, recent niceties include,

Pure Blue Japan XX003 - it seems like these have built up a rapid following. You get get other jeans in the same fabric (including some splendid Pigboys), but the 003s are just fine.

Pure Blue Japan AI-001 - maybe more of a collectors' piece than everyday wear. Amazing fabric.

Warehouse 10th Anniversary series. In particular the 1601 - lightweight denim, selvedge only visible in coin pocket.

1004xx I'm not usually enamoured with cinch back jeans, but these are excellent.

Of course, I'm perennially impressed with the Duck Diggers.

Others? mmm...

Rogan's cotton/linen and cotton/hemp jeans from his A Litl Betr range were beautiful.

Flathead 3008's have piqued my interest, although I don't think they are available to the public yet.

Samurai's S0110XJ, simply because in a world full of right-hand twill, Levi's clones, these are lefty, low rise Lee'pro's.

The XXX-26 natural indigo lefty zippered Pigboys were very nice too...

I saw some nicely done dry selvedge jeans from Timberland Boot Company recently. Canvas waistband, & fly facing, lined back yoke, black suspender buttons...

There's lots out there...

I've actually been looking at the 1004's a lot lately, I love the 1910-20 models. These have a tad higher rise than the SD-103's, no?

aaah, "a new premium brand from the people who brought you the iconic yellow boot."

i really like those shoes. very nice vintage, rugged styling. looks like you could put them on and go into the woods and chop down a tree with an axe.

liked some of the jeans too. some of those washes look great.

probably a little conservative for the streets, but you never know....
