NYC nightlife (manhattan)

gonna be in town for work this weekend from North Carolina. What are some quality spots on friday and saturday in Manhattan? thanks....i know its a massivly broad question. but help a brotha out.

it is a kinda broad question.. i moved from nyc in december so i don't know what's really in these days. but at least each area will give you an idea of what you want. there's a lot of super trendy places in the meat packing district with a more bougeic crowd. there's the more general crowd that attends the super clubs in the chelsea area. there's the looser and more eclectic crowd around east village. these are mass generalizations but you get the idea.

go to the trashparty at rafifis on friday nite, rad party with nu wave 80s stuff, and sat nite go to dunhills in tribeca on spring and greenwich streets do coka cuz thats what they do there, enjoy rok on and remember keep it free.
