i have never found any engineered jeans from levis in the states, only in europe :/

i work at the levis retail store and we are not getting engineered jeans for the upcoming fall 06 (shipment 06/15/06).

as far as international / europe goes, i'm unsure.

I acutally picked up a pair of engineered Levi's a couple of months ago...it was pretty crappy. Not like the ones that first came out. U might want to reconsider buying them. You're definately not getting what you paid for. Btw the pair I picked up was from Singapore.

As for the Asian Pacific markets, Korea specifically, both the red loop and engineered are available but comes with a heavy premium given that its an imported good.

Jeans will run in the vicinity of 200 USD. No doubt. Sizing tends to run smaller too.

i mean it's hard to say really, i really like the inovation aspect of it, and i think rikke Korff is a genius when it come to design, but all and all it depedns on what are you into, i buy jeans from the design & detail perspective, folks on this site likes raw selvedge.

i mean if you are ok with paying 200 and up ward for a apir jeans, i would reccomand you pick up a a pair, keep in mind, that the lines exclusively in asia are a bit fashion forward. and it i think thats one of the reason american consumer have hard time taking it in.

man, i would appreciate that, it's just i dont know the exact style number of the jean i'm looking for...so thats the tough part and that explain why i been looking on the foreign auction and shopping site.
