whatever though i think its cool how oni put out a nonslubby jean and tried to be innovative while they did it.

Im interested to see if natural indigo fades differently then synthetic if the jeans are both rope dyed...hmmm.

Price points are determined 20% by cost and 80% by the company. If a company decides a particular pair of jeans is its limited edition for the year and wants to sell it for a high price, then they will. In other words, the AI samurais MAY be expensive because the cost involved in making them MAY be higher, but they could be more expensive simply because samurai wants to charge more for them...

Edit: WHY did Oni have to come out with these!? I want them...

Oni Red 6 months wear every day. Coming along slow since I only wear them after work. 2 Washes, each at 3 months. Thinking of washing again at the 9 month mark to see some more contrast. Used some Obenauf oil on patch, darken it like crazy

i like the multi-colored selvage but not on the backpockets. you can take them out and still get one of the cheapest, high quality natural indigo denim out there. still not a match for the Oni Shoai.

tyson, mine is 8 months old but i've probably worn it for about 4 months and it still doesn't have any wear marks that you can notice if I post a pic. These are pretty stubborn. Been busy with my Sorahikos lately....

Wow, ok. Lots of different opinions. Thanks guys. I think I might go for the 32 and see what happens--I'm pretty annoyed about my Sam's being a bit too tight, so I don't want to make that mistake again. If they're enourmous, they'll be in the Supermarket.

i think a size 31 or a 30 because the oni denim stretches out really bad

a size 30 would be like two sizes down. oni's do stretch out a lot but that may still be two small even after stretchig.

i am six feet and two inches tall, wiegh something like 155-165? been a while

and my normal waist size is a 31 or 32.... all of my jeans stretch out to be about 32.5"

I usually wear a 34 in most jeans and sized down to a 32 in the blues. I couldn't get some of the bottons buttoned at first but these guys def strech out a lot, and fit great now.

I'd reccomend sizing down 1 or 2 but def not anymore.

Thought I'd post a little update at nearly one month on my Oni Blues sz. 29

Hot soaked once when i got them.

I apologize in advance, these pictures are shot with me holding the jeans up to the one tiny bit direct sunlight, i live in a basement room and dont get a lot of light.
