Yeah so being elated after waiting for one month after i ordered my nudies i decided on my second day i would ride my quad to get some nice wear in. Well i flipped the four wheeler and got my knees pretty muddy. It's funny-I got more worried about my 200 dollar jeans than my multi thousand dollar quad directly afterwards lol. But anyways how the hell can i get these mud/dirt marks out of my jeans without fucking them up>? Any help appreciated guys. Thanks

I do not know how muddy they are, but you have many logical options. Dry clean, hand wash, soak the mud out, any number of things. Just to let you know, if you looked around the forums a bit, you would find many answers in oppose to posting right away.

Let the mud crust and then scrape it off. The rest of the dirt should fall out sooner or later.

If you never soaked your RRDS they are going to bleed like crazy when water is applied. I just soaked my new ones yesterday and actually had to scrub the tub after to get the indigo off the surface, no other jeans have bled that much on their first soak. That said, they still look dark and awesome afterwards.

So I say cold soak em, hand rub the dirt and you should be good to go. Just don't freak when the water is blue.

As rnrswitch eluded to, you will be suprised by how much it seems like time cleand your jeans. Again, depending on how much mud there is, it may just "disappear" with time.

Ohh, and I read my response again, and realize I sounded kinda like the search nazi, I will leave that to other members that seem to get much mroe enjoyment out of it than me. All I meant was read, read, read, as there is many different opinions and ways of doing things. You will hear this a hundred times, but THEY ARE JEANS.

Look at member Ryu's jeans. He washes them often, and they are considered incredible by many.

Side note, with the RRDS, you all have found them to bleed like crazy? I have a pair of RRDG, and there was literally zero detectable indigo loss by looking at the jeans or the water after 2 soaks. Remember, that indigo is insolluable in water, thus it is the agitation that fades, not the act of wetting them.

I get my jeans dirty on purpose, once they dry the dirt pretty much flakes off or turns to dust. I like the way dirty jeans look anyways.

As for the diesels, I can admire the fact that the dirt or clay stayed on the jeans relatively well and i remember liking them a lot when they first hit the shelf.

Like other people have said earlier, let the mud dry and brush it off. If you just ignore the mud, like someone said earlier, it'll disappear with time. If you do brush it off just don't brush too hard, you might get some small wear marks. If you use a white rag, you can gauge the wear you're causing by rubbing by looking how much indigo has bled onto the rag.

yup thats what i did crisis...worked nicely...i think i got a lot more blue than brown on the rag though...anyways looks kinda cool with the remaining dirt.....as to riding 4 wheeler with them...i didnt buy them to just ride around with them on...just part of the overall lifestyle..thanks
