The 3rd button down (on the fly) is one of the gold thinks that is on say, the back pocket as you can see in the picture or the 5th pocket. It doesn't have one of the things you can use to button it...its just not there.

it's obviously a manufacturing mistake and somet will probably fix it. send them an email with a picture or description of the problem. like i said before, if you bought them from blue in green you should probably be able to exchange with them. just ask.

looks to me like it's missing the top part of the button. you should send them back. it's already pretty obvious from the fit pics that the middle button isn't buttoned, and it's only going to get worse as the jeans stretch with wear. won't be able to return 'em then.

No I dont know if you can tell but one of them is gold. Will a middle button change the fit that much that its worth it? Or can I just run to any tailor....

eh, like i tried saying before you're probably better off contacting somét about it. from what i've heard their customer service is exceptional. they'll probably comp expedited shipping and even send you a free trinket or some shit.

and for the record that fit is terrible, but i know your fit is 10000x better in person, so dont worry about it, just crappy pics.

Thanks I did look into that model but don't like the look of that white stripe back pocket unless there's a way to take it off.

How's the denim on the momotaro?

I'm sort of done with slubby type denim now: pbj, sc, hairy eternals, etc.

I like the sheeny rigid denims like dior and somets now.

the fly buttons are riveted on just like the other rivets.. rivets are two part obviously, and theyve accidently mixed a copper rivet back with the fly button front, which probably held on for a while around the factory but fell off in shipping.

so i took the plunge and bought myself a somet 008 size 30. The fit in the waist is good (hopefully it doesnt stretch alot)

I dunno what's happening with the crotch area though...too much room there lol. Hopefully it's gone soon with more wear because it's pretty stiff at the moment.
