These just arrived and I guess I did not do my HW: the instep is too low, I can barley get my foot in. Cobbler doesn't think he can stretch it enough. Includes original box, tags and CD carrying bag. Fits a US8-8.5/boots have a low instep

I'm not sure what kind of leather this is; maybe washed calf? Color is brown w/ a chalk or powder-like coat on it.
