Information:

This is a rare full suit in a beautiful medium grey colour from Carol Christian Poell’s Fall 06/07 collection. Jacket size is a 46, and pants is a 48 altered by previous owner to be smaller. A classic item with all the standard CCP signature quirks; pagoda shoulders, curved arms, etc. It should be noted that the sleeves on the jacket are high and tight. The pants fit slim and have a straight cut. They have an odd asymmetric cut, however does not affect the way it fits. I tried my best to capture it in the images, but here is a description: the seam is off-center, making the crotch appear shifted. This also affects the construction of one of the legs, where the front panel is smaller than the rear panel. This DOES NOT mean that one leg is larger than the other. On the back side, the center back seam is curved instead of straight, which does not shift the positioning of the pockets.

The suit is made of 100% Ramie fabric, which is a plant fiber. It has many unique characteristics; it is one of the strongest natural fibers (~8x cotton), low in elasticity, slightly lustrous (not shiny), easily cleaned (good stain resistance), stiff but not coarse (holds shape well and does not shrink). The fabric has a medium weight, and tends to wrinkle akin to linen. For more info search the net.
