So it´s my turn now and the package from dingo arrived today:

The jeans is delivered unwashed because i wanted to start an experimental washing method, here´s one "secret ingredient" for my special detergent:

It´s salt, which made my hometown rich in medieval times. Today it´s just a famous souvenir ... or part of my detergent:

So i grabbed the jean to cook a special, mediterranean denim soup:

mixed salt and olive oil, filled up with boiling water to "melt" the crystals:

adding the soup to the washtub, dilute with water and then ... let the jean take a nice, relaxing bath!

Today i took a walk through the nearby forest. In september i´m on my first trekkingtour from portugal too spain, so i took my backpack with me to get used to it´s weight.

This is where i live, in "Kaltenmoor", a tower block area in Lüneburg. Many people, many problems, but it´s cheap!

No goats, but "Heidschnucken", a very common sheep in northern germany. You can see flocks of "Heidschnucken" in the "Lüneburger Heide", a nearby famous heathland.

Mini-update from yesterday evening. Meeting some friends, we´re a group of (semi-)professional writers, calling ourselves "Die Wortmälzer". Published two books with them, working on No.3.

Today i´ve made plenty of pictures while taking a walk trough the historic old twon of Lüneburg. Enjoy!

Am Sande, a "huge" Place in the city-centre

An old brewery, now a Chamber of Industry an Crafts.

Build in 1548, so one of the "newer" historic buildings. Lüneburg is founded in 956, but there are no buildings out of this time, for sure.

The St. Nicolai Church, my favorite! Not the biggest one, but the light in there is beautiful. I´m not religious, but i like churches a lot!

The biggest church in Lüneburg is the St. Johannis Church. As you can see, the tower roof is leaning to one side. The legend says, the carpenter who build it, killed himself by jumping of the tower . He couldn´t stand the shame! Dunno if it´s true.

Bonus pic, the sticker says: "Nazi-wear stinks! **** off Thor Steinar!" It´s because of a former nazi/hooligan shop around the corner. They threw in the shop window every time the owner repaired it and after a year or so he gave up his business. Well done!:-D

Rotbart and me did a little meetup in Lüneburg today. He and a ladyfriend showed me the old town of that beautiful city.

It´s not actually a town, nothing more than a few houses in the middle of nowhere. But very beautiful and you´ll get a glimpse of old times.
